There is a lone darkened valley amongst the great unending Thrall Mountains at the end of the earth. This is where the last god who has not yet receded back into the heavens still lives, a dark forbidding place with endless impenetrable forests and icy mountain streams. No human has ever lived there; there are no old ruins filled with treasure to attract wandering adventurers. The hermit god that lives amongst this wild, natural hinterland with beasts, outcast from both his own kind and the humans.

That god is Melok. And he is not forgiving.

If a wayward party
were to stumble on his domain,
would they end up
dead as dreams?
